Industrial Radiator Recore Service

Posted on January 20, 2012 by The Radiator Man in Radiators, Services

Over time, radiator cores get corroded and begin to leak or have cooling

issues.  This is normal as vibration, wear and tear, and the environment affects the efficiency of the radiator.

When a radiator cannot be repaired or patched up due to mulitple leaks, rotten cores, or compromised headers, a RADIATOR RECORE is the best option over replacement.  Radiator recores will, on the average, save you 40% – 50%  over complete replacement.

The radiator is completely disassembled, all brackets and fittings are marked, and tanks are stamped to ensure proper re-installation.

We hot tank and bead-blast all parts, ensuring they are completely free of rust, scale, and any other contaminants.

The side brackets, tanks, and fitings are reassembled with the new core. New hardware including Grade 8 nuts, washers, and bolts, are used to secure everything together.

After reassembly, the radiator will be pressure checked, and upon a good check, will be dried and painted, ready for delivery.

We specialize in Peterbilt, Kenworth, Mack, International, and Freightliner Radiators.  Save money today by having your radiator recored, not replaced!
