Industrial GenSet Radiator Recore

Posted on August 26, 2011 by The Radiator Man in Featured Work

Here at Advanced Radiator we see all different sizes of radiators come into our shop.  The following radiator came in earlier this week, and I think it is a good example of our capabillites.

This radiator is off a power generator, and is in for a recore service.  The radiator is actually divided into four sections; there are four separate cores fitted together to make one unit.  We will disassemble the radiator,  taking off the tanks, side brackets, and any other hardware on the unit. We then get proper core measurements, and begin to prep the remaining parts.  Both tanks, side brackets, and bolting hardware get boiled out, sandblasted, and prepped for reassembly.  The unit will get all-new fastening hardware, and once put together and pressure checked, a fresh coat of paint.  Stay tuned for updates on the progress of this job!
